Someday, Webcracy.org will have a solid portfolio of meaningful stuff. Products that make like easier and better, Articles that contribute to discussions, Projects that are worth sharing.
By stumbling on great stuff and trying to creating useful stuff, Webcracy.org wants to elaborate and propose a project for the people and society of the 21st century. It all has to do with personal information systems and management: putting people in charge of all systems they interact with.
I am Alexandre Loureiro Solleiro and, in collaboration with people and business partners, in an organic and networked fashion, am trying to get there.
I'm (2010 - 1981) years old and currently live in Lisbon, Portugal. I'm Brazilian and Portuguese and have lived abroad all my life. As a result, I'm abroad wherever I go. I can pass for French and once an American guy thought I was from Connecticut. It seems that I can pass for French when I speak Spanish too, although sometimes I sound like a Portuguese. Or so I'm told.
I'm an indie web producer, tinkerer, thinker and strategist, a partner and navigator at web boutique Quodis, a co-founder of coworking space Liberdade229, a community agitator, a Ruby 'coder'. In the past, I worked on stuff ranging from e-learning to sales to project management and marketing strategy for AF83, Mandriva, Dell Computer, Renault EspaƱa and Cap Gemini Ernst&Young.
