Hi! I am Alexandre Loureiro Solleiro, an user experience designer and passionate “all-things-open” advocate and participant. Webcracy.org is where I publish some thoughts and ideas, mainly about the web.
I have participated in a bunch of software product projects, from seeding to development to launch to maintenance; e-Learning products, Linux distros and mostly web apps. I enjoy conceiving and delivering experiences along with smart people.
I am a Brazilian and Portuguese citizen of the world. I am fluent in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish. Check out my Linkedin profile for more information on my professional background.
I heart our planet and all its paradoxes. Human culture gives me immeasurable pleasure in the form of writing and music, although it is the web that keeps me awake at night.
Here are some projects and ideas. Today, these topics are of particular interest to me today (they encapsulate equally important projects) :
- DiSo: Distributed social networks
- ProjectVRM: Vendor Relationship Management
- Data Portability: “The open standards stack for the ubiquitous sharing and remixing of data”
- Karma Initiative: A model for reputation management on the web
You can contact me by email and IM (Jabber/GTalk) at alexandre.solleiro “at” gmail.com. I update more or less regularly on Twitter and have a Facebook profile, meet me there. I also post some photos and images on Flickr, whereas I use amazing Dopplr to keep track of travels and people I ought to meet; add me as contact there too!
Thanks for visiting.
Alex
